Diaphragm metering pump maintenance
(1) Check the engineering diaphragm metering pump pipeline and joints for looseness. Turn the diaphragm metering pump by hand to see if the diaphragm metering pump is flexible.
(2) Add bearing lubricating oil into the bearing body, observe that the oil level of the diaphragm metering pump should be at the center line of the oil mark, and the lubricating oil should be replaced or supplemented in time.
(3) Unscrew the water diversion plug of the diaphragm metering pump body, and pour water (or slurry).
(4) Close the gate valve, outlet pressure gauge and inlet vacuum gauge of the outlet pipe of the diaphragm metering pump.
(5) Jog the motor to see if the direction of the motor is correct.
(6) Start the motor. When the diaphragm metering pump is in normal operation, open the outlet pressure gauge and the inlet vacuum pump to see if they show proper pressure, then gradually open the gate valve and check the motor load at the same time.
(7) Try to control the flow rate and lift of the diaphragm metering pump within the range indicated on the sign to ensure that the diaphragm metering pump operates at the highest efficiency point, so as to obtain the greatest energy saving effect.
(8) During the operation of the diaphragm metering pump, the bearing temperature should not exceed the ambient temperature of 35°C, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 80°C.
(9) If abnormal sound is found in the diaphragm metering pump, stop immediately to check the cause.
(10) When the diaphragm metering pump is to be stopped, first close the gate valve and pressure gauge, and then stop the motor.
(11) The diaphragm metering pump should replace the lubricating oil after 100 hours in the first month of operation, and change the oil every 500 hours thereafter.
(12) Regularly adjust the packing gland of the diaphragm metering pump to ensure that the dripping in the packing chamber is normal (it is advisable to leak out in drops).
(13) Regularly check the wear of the diaphragm metering pump shaft sleeve, and replace it in time after the wear is large.
(14) When the diaphragm metering pump is used in the cold winter season, after parking, it is necessary to unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the pump body to drain the medium. Prevent freeze cracking.
(15) If the diaphragm metering pump is out of use for a long time, it is necessary to disassemble the pump, wipe off the water, apply grease to the rotating parts and joints, and store them properly.
